🍣 This post will outline some of the major operational, technical, and community milestones reached in the past month. We've summarized all articles and announcements as well as some of the exciting things to come. Without further ado, let's dive into the highlights!
Sushi joins Katana as the core DEX at launch, powering swaps, real yield, and the liquidity flywheel on the DeFi-first chain. 1/🧵 pic.twitter.com/nrHR38PiLN
⚔️ The long wait is finally over - Katana has officially arrived! Katana is the brand new, DeFi-first chain for boosted real yield and deep liquidity that has been long in the works for over the past year, and we're so excited to finally be sharing the alpha with you all.
Incubated by Polygon Labs and GSR in addition to being a Polygon AggLayer Breakout Program graduate, Katana is positioned to take the scene by storm with their innovations such as Chain-Owned Liquidity (CoL) and VaultBridge.
Sushi powers this new system as the execution layer for trades and liquidity provision, bringing years of battle-tested execution and experience to a chain built for the next generation of DeFi.
We are proud to be the exclusive DEX and aggregator for Katana at launch, and look forward to a long and productive partnership working closely with the talented Katana team!
💸 We are proud to introduce the new Sushi Claim Page, a streamlined and intuitive way for our users to claim all of their fees in one single place. Boasting multi-chain support, users simply have to visit the new claim page and can claim all of their v3 rewards and fees across all supported chains in just a few moments.
⛓️ We continue to iterate and improve upon our market-leading DEX aggregator, and that will never change. We are excited to roll out the latest iteration, RouteProcessor7 (RP7), for all of our users to begin using immediately. Enjoy even better pricing across 40+ chains, with zero set up on the user's end - simply continue swapping as before!

📅 May 14, 3PM UTC 🎙️ Tokenomics, incentives & more
🗣️ In case you missed it, our Head Chef, Jared Grey, recently went on The Founder's Show to discuss things such as common tokenomics mistakes, what not to do as a founder, and so much more with Yay Network!

🗣️ We also took part in the exciting kickoff AMA for Katana this past week, where we got to answer questions from the community and discuss our role in the brand new ecosystem.
If you're looking for alpha, this is the AMA for you!
Join us next Tuesday for our rescheduled AMA with the talented folks from @dRPCorg where we'll chat about MEV & what they are doing to mitigate it for our users & more!
🗣️ It was a busy month! We also managed to host our own AMA with the talented folks from dRPC this past week, where we showcased what makes them different in the world of crypto infrastructure and how they work tirelessly to help mitigate MEV and other pain points for both our users and other protocols.
We just integrated @DeFi Scanner for an extra token check before you swap. Catch 💀 buy/sell taxes, 🚫 transfer locks, 🍯 honeypots, and more before you swap.
⚠️ We recently integrated our second token screener into the frontend to continue on our mission to protect our users. The De.Fi Scanner allows for yet another token check before users make swaps, helping to identify those pesky buy/sell taxes and the plethora of honeypot scams that pop up daily.
No extra setup is required from the users - just swap normally with the peace of mind that there is yet another token screener making checks automatically on your behalf.
📈 We are pleased to report that our DEX aggregator did over 465 million in volume this past month, which represents a whopping 75.7% increase from April!
Come see what all of the hype is about and start using the Sushi DEX Aggregator to make your swaps now here
Closing Thoughts
DeFi feels different today. Maybe it’s the krates. Maybe it’s the real yields. Maybe it’s @katana. ⚔️
