🍣 This post will outline some of the major operational, technical, and community milestones reached in the past month. We've summarized all articles and announcements as well as some of the exciting things to come. Without further ado, let's dive into the highlights!
Katana Mainnet is Finally Here!
⚔️ Rejoice - Katana mainnet has officially arrived this week, and we couldn't be more excited for everyone to check out what we've been hard at work on! For those who have missed all of the hype and content leading up to the release, Katana is the DeFi-first chain designed for real yield and deep liquidity, with Sushi powering the liquidity flywheel as the exclusive DEX and aggregator.
📈 We are very pleased to announce that our aggregator has officially surpassed over six billion dollars in trading volume! This is an incredible feat, and we thank each and every one of you for making it possible by continuing to rely on us as your one-stop shop in DeFi. This is only the beginning!
Keeping in spirit with the exciting milestone, we released a comprehensive Dune dashboard for our aggregator this past month, allowing for anyone to track total aggregator volume, daily volume and more - check it out today!
⛓️ Sonic Labs & Apecoin are both officially live on SushiXSwap! Simply select the chains from the dropdown menu in the SushiXSwap UI and begin seamlessly trading between them and 25 other chains today. Yep, cross-chain swapping really is that easy!
🗣️ In case you missed it, Katana hosted an alpha-packed AMA chatting about Sushi's new role as THE DEX of Katana. If you're interested in why everyone is talking about Katana and/or why Sushi is such an integral part of the new protocol, then this AMA is a must!
🇺🇸 It was a pleasure meeting you all at the SOL Brunch Sessions event in New York City last week during Permissionless! We had a ton of fun, and also would like to thank each of the other sponsors that helped make this event possible as well: Crunch, Axelar, STXN, Den, Tectonic, Halborn, D.Offline, Bless and W3Joe!
The Forge: Cannes
🇫🇷 We just wrapped up an exciting IRL event last night, The Forge, at EthCC in Cannes with our friends over at GSR, Agora and Polygon to chat everything Katana!
The alpha was flowing - it was a pleasure meeting you all, and we're so glad everyone is as excited about Katana as we are!
