Neptune Mutual ($NPM) is live on Sushi

Today we announced that Neptune Mutual ($NPM), the first parametric cover marketplace created for Ethereum and the leading DeFi insurance protocol on Arbitrum, is now live on Sushi! We're thrilled that Neptune Mutual has chosen Sushi as their go-to platform to deploy their liquidity.

What is Neptune Mutual?

Neptune Mutual aims to revolutionize the DeFi insurance industry by providing a marketplace for decentralized coverage to mitigate smart contract and custody risks. Users can easily launch the app, choose an insurance pool, and enter their coverage amount. Following a successful incident resolution, they can collect stablecoin payouts without needing personally identifiable information or evidence of loss; typically, payouts are made only 8 days after an incident is first reported.

The $NPM token is the native utility token used for governance participation and access to in-app features.The primary quote currency of the marketplace cover pools both for policy fees and payouts is USDC.

$NPM tokens are now available through our v2 & v3 AMM on the Arbitrum, Polygon, and BNB Chain networks, with $NPM/ $USDC pools initiated on each chain. This allows users to choose where they'd like to trade, allowing great flexibility to swap and provide liquidity for $NPM. Moreover, with SushiXSwap, users can seamlessly cross-chain swap assets across 7 networks, including Arbitrum, Polygon, and BNB Chain.
