How to Swap and LP on Kadena Using Sushi

Learn how to swap and LP on Kadena using Sushi, step-by-step

How to Swap

Step 1: Navigate to the Sushi homepage and select Kadena from the network dropdown menu in the upper right corner.

Step 2: Once you've selected Kadena as your network, ensure that your wallet is connected in the upper right corner by selecting Connect Wallet and following the prompts.

Note: There are currently two recommended wallets that can be used to interact with Kadena: eckoWALLET, a Kadena-native wallet that can be used on both desktop and mobile, and the Kadena Snap for Metamask, which can only be used on desktop.

eckoWALLET: https://eckowallet.com/

Kadena Snap for Metamask: https://snaps.metamask.io/snap/npm/mindsend/kadena-snap/

Note: While MetaMask supports multiple Kadena Accounts, Sushi only supports connection with Kadena Account 1. Please ensure the funds you'd like to use are on this account.

Step 3: Select the asset you want to swap from and the asset you want to swap to in the swap modal, as well as the amounts you wish to transact.

Once you have chosen your assets and their respective amounts, select Swap and ensure all of the information looks correct to you; if so, then select Swap again.

Note: Sushi operates on Kadena Chain-2; ensure your funds are on the correct chain to proceed.

Step 4: After a few moments, the transaction will finalize and you have successfully made a swap on the Kadena network using Sushi!

How to LP

Step 3: Select the token pair you would like to LP for by navigating to each asset using the dropdown boxes available.

Step 4: Choose the amount of each asset you would like to LP; the other asset field will auto-populate with the same amount.

Note: Currently only v2 positions are available on Kadena

Select Add Liquidity and ensure all of the information looks correct; if so, select Add Liquidity again.

Step 5: You have now officially created a LP position on Kadena using Sushi! If you want to see your position, select the Pools tab and it will populate under My Positions.
