We are proud to announce that we are now currently live on Boba Network! For now, our Automated Market Maker (AMM) and pools are the first release of products from our suite that we have deployed there, with more on the way! This means users can now swap anytime using Sushi on Boba and utilize our deep liquidity for minimal slippage. Boba is an optimistic Layer 2 (L2) rollup that has been generating hype lately with their novel system they bring to the ecosystem, and we’re excited to provide our users with easy, seamless access to it, as well as roll out some new rewards for them. Let’s hop in!
What's A Boba?
Boba Network is an optimistic L2 rollup, with a major focus on computation. Optimistic rollups are so called due to their “optimistic” way of deriving consensus on the network: it bundles (“rolls up”) transactions then submits that bundle to the Ethereum mainnet. The transactions are considered valid until proven otherwise by a network of checks and balances). What distinguishes Boba in particular from the other optimistic L2 rollups is that they have a Turing-complete Hybrid Compute system. This is a system for interacting with the outside world from within smart contracts by leveraging off-chain computation and real world data fetching powers, and also gives users a native fraud detector which they can utilize to reproduce and independently validate the blockchain, block by block (read: security and peace of mind). In addition, Boba allows for cross-chain messaging and provides a simple swap system for rapid exits from Boba Network to the Ethereum Mainnet or to another L2, quickly and efficiently. For the NFT enthusiasts out there, Boba enables native NFT bridging as well - mint, sell and move NFT assets between Ethereum Mainnet and Boba, or between Boba and another L2 solution. With our AMM now live on Boba, all of our users can begin utilizing it and taking advantage of swaps and swap fees. Trade your way to an early retirement on our deep, battle-tested exchange with low slippage and zero hassle! Of course, no Sushi deployment would be even close to complete without our pools - add liquidity to whichever pairs you wish and begin earning swap fees on them immediately. Looking ahead, we also have our other products’ deployments to look forward to: Onsen Farms, Furo Streaming and BentoBox will all be released on Boba in the coming weeks! With Furo, DAOs and companies alike can set up token streams on Boba to pay salaries, bounties and contributors as well as create vestings and cliffs, positioning Furo as the one-stop shop for any and all payroll needs. Because BentoBox will also be living on the Boba Network, all tokens put into Furo will earn additional yield on top, automatically. That’s right, you don’t have to do anything else to earn it, you can just have the rewards - our gift to you.
