Sushi is Live on Linea

We're excited to announce that Sushi is now live on Linea, making it the 2nd zk solution and 28th network we've deployed on. Linea, developed by Ethereum leading software company Consensys, offers enhanced scalability, fast finality, and capital-efficient bridges, all while inheriting Ethereum's robust security features.

What is Linea?

Linea, powered by Consensys, stands out for its user experience and scalability features. Launched in July, Linea is particularly attractive for DeFi applications, NFTs, gaming and social apps, offering low gas fees, high throughput and low latency. The network has seamless integration with leading web3 products like MetaMask, making it frictionless for developers and enhancing user onboarding.

Sushi x Linea: Ethereum at Heart, Multi-Chain in Motion

Sushi is the first and biggest Ethereum-native DEX to deploy on Linea. Sushi's v3 AMM (Automated Market Maker), along with its built-in DEX Aggregator, has been successfully launched on this high-performance layer 2 network.

With a presence on over 25 chains, Sushi continues to lead the way in multi-chain innovation. With the unique cross-chain swaps via SushiXSwap, Sushi enables users to swap seamlessly across various blockchains, all while offering a refined v3 Liquidity Provider (LP) experience. Smart Pools, a v3 Automated Liquidity Management (ALM) solution, powered by Steer Protocol, which are set to become a native feature on the platform in the near future. Sushi is also proud to collaborate with other ALM partners such as Gamma and DeFiEdge, to mitigate risks of v3 LPing and improve returns through various strategies.

Much like Consensys, a foundational name in the Ethereum space, Sushi has a long-standing history in the Ethereum ecosystem, both drawn by the security aspect of Ethereum. With this latest expansion, Sushi aims to attract greater trading activity by leveraging Linea's lower gas fees.
