Arbitrage is the buying and selling of an asset from one market to another, normally in the context of making a profit. Just as in everyday life, you will notice that one store may sell a product cheaper than another store does. Every trader is familiar with the goal of buying low and selling high; this is seen as an opportunity. Traders will buy from the cheaper market and flip the asset in the market that values it higher. This practice is what typically keeps markets within an equalized price range, as users and bots will take advantage of these price discrepancies.
