💡What is $USDC?
USDC is a stablecoin pegged to the US dollar, meaning that 1 USDC is equivalent to 1 USD. It is backed by real assets, which provides stability and makes it useful in decentralized finance, where it can be used as a stable value that is not subject to the volatility of other cryptocurrencies.
🌕 A step by step guide on how to buy $USDC on the Ethereum network:
- Get the Metamask wallet browser extension at http://metamask.io/.
- Buy $ETH at any fiat-token gateway and send $ETH to your Metamask ETH wallet address.
- Head over to the Swap page, click on Connect Wallet in the top right corner. Select Ethereum Mainnet on the drop down menu.
- In the top left corner of the swap window, select Swap
- Select USDC on the bottom half of the swap window and input the amount you wish to purchase, click on Swap.
- Confirm your swap.
- Add $USDC tokens to your Metamask.
- Congratulations! You have just successfully purchased $USDC tokens.
🤝 How to sell your $USDC to $ETH or other Stablecoins
- Head over to the Swap page, click on Connect Wallet on the top right corner. Select Ethereum Mainnet on the drop down menu.
- On the top left corner of the swap window, select Swap.
- Select USDC on the upper half of the swap window and input the amount you wish to sell to $ETH or other stablecoins & Click on Swap.
- Confirm your swap.
- Voila! You have successfully sold your $USDC to $ETH.
