💡What is $DAI?

DAI is the first decentralized, collateral-backed stablecoin. It is issued by the Maker Protocol, which is a decentralized application built on top of the Ethereum network. DAI is pegged to the US dollar and maintains its peg by using collateral such as ETH and other crypto assets. Users can get DAI by collateralizing their own crypto assets using the Maker Protocol or by spending ETH or other assets to buy the dollar equivalent amount in DAI.

🌕 A step by step guide on how to buy $DAI on the Ethereum network:

1. Get the Metamask wallet browser extension at http://metamask.io/.
2. Buy $ETH at any fiat-token gateway and send $ETH to your Metamask ETH wallet address.
3. Head over to the Swap page, click on Connect Wallet on the top right corner. Select Ethereum Mainnet on the drop down menu.
   
   
4. On the top left corner of the swap window, select Swap
   
5. Select DAI on the bottom half of the Swap window and input the amount you wish to purchase, click on Swap.
   
6. Confirm your swap.
   
7. Add $DAI tokens to your Metamask.
8. Congratulations! You have just successfully purchased $DAI tokens.

🤝 How to sell your $DAI to $ETH or other Stablecoins

1. Head over to the Swap page, click on Connect Wallet on the top right corner. Select Ethereum Mainnet on the drop down menu.
   
   
2. On the top left corner of the swap window, select Swap.
   
3. Select DAI on the upper half of the swap window and input the amount you wish to sell to $ETH or other stablecoins & click on Swap.
   
4. Confirm your swap.
5. Voila! You have successfully sold your $DAI to $ETH.
