What is Trident?

An extensible framework for building and scaling AMMs, powered by the BentoBox. Live on the following networks: Polygon, Kava, Optimism & Metis.

All-In-One Decentralized Exchange

The Trident Framework can support any pool type, no matter how novel or complex.

More than a single AMM

Trident is not one specific AMM itself, it's a host (framework) to all.

Capital Efficient

Built on and powered by the BentoBox, passively earning yield on your tokens.

Save money on every swap

Managed by Tines, our smart ordering router, calculating and saving you money on every swap.

Extensible Versioning

Always compatible with previous versions, allowing developers to continue building new AMMs on Trident, without reinventing the wheel.

The BentoBox

All of the funds on Trident are also available to be applied to approved strategies in the BentoBox. This feature is made possible by Bento's empirical accounting method.

The Tines Router

Tines is a Smart Ordering Router (SOR) that is responsible for managing all the swaps on Trident. When the final phase of Trident is complete, Tines will be the only router in existence.

The IPool interface

The IPool interface was developed by the Sushi team in the process of building Trident, which is a system of contracts that supports the four most canonical types of liquidity in DeFi: Constant Product Pool, Stable Swap Pool, Concentrated Liquidity Pool, Index Pool.
