Delegating Votes For Snapshot

Learn how to delegate your SUSHIPOWAH

    Copy

The voting power of users are determined by a contract called SushiPowah.

    What Gives SushiPowah?

SushiPowah can be accumulated a variety of ways. Current ways to obtain SushiPowah are:

    • wETH-SUSHI SLP (Liquidity Provision for Ethereum & Sushi)
    • xSUSHI
    • MEOWSHI
    • tSushi (Sushi staked via Tokemak)
    • axSushi (xSushi staked via Aave)

    How Does It Work?

If you hold any of the tokens above, you will have the ability to weigh your vote into any proposals that are put up on Sushi’s Snapshot. If you are not active, you can ā€˜delegate’ your votes to another individual instead.

Please note that delegating your vote is considered an on-chain transaction, thus you will have to pay a small amount of gas fee. If you have xSushi located on another chain such as Polygon, you will need to initiate the transaction from that specific network instead.

    Additional Info

You can find more information on how the entire delegation process works here.
